The Pokemon GO events for the last month piled up, with one great event after another. As May slowly winds down, we’ve finally got our hands on the brand new content roadmap for June 2024. So whether you’re a regular player excited to head to Pokemon GO Shared Skies or a new player, here’s every confirmed event for June’s Pokemon GO guide. This includes spotlight hours, raids and special events. So with that, let’s take a look!
All Pokemon GO events in June 2024
1. Pokemon GO Fest: Sendai
Schedules: May 30 to June 2, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. local time
June’s Pokemon GO events kick off with GO Fest: Sendai. As the name suggests, this is an event specifically focused on the region of Sendai, Japan. So you must visit the region to attend this special event.
During these two days, Pokemon Marshadow and Necrozma will debut in the game. In addition, rewards such as 1.5X Hatch Stardust, 1.5X Hatch Candyetc., will also be available.
2. Views of the Stadium
Schedules: June 1 to June 4, 10:00 – 20:00 local time.
Pokemon GO’s first big event for June 2024 is Stadium Sights. In it, players can encounter some of the popular Flying-type Pokemon from the Sendai event globally. This includes Pidgey, Pidgeot, Doduo, Meditite, etc.
For more, Shiny emolga will also appear in-game for the first time through this event. There will also be bonuses like 1.5x candy and Stardust for spawning Pokemon.
3. Slumbering Sands
Schedules: June 7 to June 12, 10:00 – 20:00 local time.
Slumbering sands in Pokemon GO will feature a handful of great additions. As part of the Pokemon costume list, Slakoth, Vigoroth and Slaking will debut wearing liners, including their shiny variant. You may come across them while taking pictures during the event.
Outside of that, there will be event-themed field quests, timed quests for players who connect a Pokemon GO Plus+, wild encounters with Pokemon like Psyduck, Slowpoke, etc., timed quests paid for $2.00, and collection challenge. If you played Ultra Space Wonders from last month, it follows a similar trajectory.
Schedules: June 9, 14:00 – 17:00 local time
Community Day for June in Pokemon GO will also be part of the monthly events. This community day is Goomy themed. So Goomy and Shiny Goomy will appear in the game during the event. Additionally, participating in this event will net you 2X Catch Candies, 3x Catch Stardust and also a chance to complete specific field quests.
5. Spelunker’s Cove
Schedules: June 15 to June 18, 10:00 – 20:00 local time
Spelunker’s Cove is another of the themed events planned for June in Pokemon GO. However, details about the event, apart from the dates, are yet to be aired. We will update you immediately with the necessary details as they become available.
6. Scorching steps
Schedules: June 21 to June 25, 10:00 – 20:00 local time
Scorching Steps continues the tradition of themed events in Pokemon GO. Unfortunately, we’re very early in the days of the new roadmap, and details aren’t out yet. Judging by the name, it is thought that this event will be focused on Fire Pokemon. We will keep you updated with the same.
Schedules: June 22, 14:00 – 17:00 local time
Community Day Classic is a special event in Pokemon GO where a Pokemon previously featured in a Community Day returns. And, this event returns again for the June events. For this month, Cyndaquil is the featured Pokemon. You will have a chance to catch Cyndaquil and its shiny variant. Additionally, playing during the event also allows you to reap the benefits of 2x XP capture and 2x Stardust capture, among other benefits.
8. 8th anniversary party
Schedules: June 28 to July 3, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. local time
Pokemon GO turns eight in June. And Niantic plans to celebrate in style. While details are currently unavailable, we expect the game to feature new Pokemon fed periodically and special research events that reward players with cool items.
9. Elite Raid: Mega Rayquaza
Schedules: June 29, 12:00 – 17:00 local time
As previously mentioned on Shared Skies, Mega Rayquaza will be returning to Pokemon GO in June. While its capture requirements and conditions are not yet available, we expect it to follow the standard Elite Raid format. We will immediately update the details when they go live.
10. Pokemon GO June 2024: Attention Schedule
Spotlight Hours are returning to Pokemon GO in June as part of their events. Just like May, players can catch these Pokemon during specific hours and days:
- June 4: Makuhita
- June 11: Wingull
- June 18: Roggenrola
- June 25: Morelull
These Pokemon will appear on the dates given by From 18:00 to 19:00 local time. So we advise you to be prepared. We will also be writing specific guides for each Pokemon with the necessary details, so keep an eye out for that.
11. Pokemon GO June 2024 Raid Schedule
Raid Hours is returning once again to Pokemon GO in June. This current Raid Hour will replace the May Raid Hour, with new Pokemon. Take a look at them:
- June 5: Zapdos
- June 12: Landorus
- June 19: Yveltal
- June 26: Yveltal
Interestingly enough, Yveltal will appear twice in a single month for June. However, these Pokemon will appear during raid hours on the given dates and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM local time.
